  Anybody shed some more light on this vesta..I have had it for a while.The image is a White Star Liner .The "Oceanic",  launched 1890 and broken up in 1914 . Its says with  compliments..does this indicate it was a freebie ? given away if you bought mens boots at the launching of the liner from the Marlow shoe company or was it available for years after the launching ? and why the pretty woman on the back....they sold mens shoes only !!!.. a little bit revealing

matchless and they give away a vesta ...!!

 Just re-read my topic .It reads that the Oceanic was launched from the Marlow Shoe Company...a major feat of publicity !!

 Thanks for the interesting replies. The date of the vesta is still unclear. Would they offer it after it was broken up ? or at the launching ? Be nice to know when the footwear was introduced
