Here you go . I bet its RARE !! To me its probably £200 to £250 but would'nt mind betting some Petrol heads will be frothing at the mouth !!

I had the same sign about 5 year back. sold it for £300. slightly nicer condition.
anoying i sold it to pay for double glazing, bah, i wish id not now. |

Hi, Heres my one,
Personally I think your a bit shy on the £250/300 price.
As you say the demand for automobilia signs stays strong & prices reflect that , especially ones that are not common.
I saw one go through at auction, 6 months ago ,in not quite as good condition as mine for £580.

Yep I would'nt argue at all with you. As i said PETROL and OIL etc are all fetching mega prices at the moment. Interesting that one of the biggest buyers ( AC ) has started to buy alot more ' other advertising ' signs lately. Mind you he has almost everything going !! LOL

Not saying that these above are, but this sign desgn is turning up here and there nowadays. I think the repro lads have cottoned on to making it. |

Trouble is when you list with a high price and then keep reducing on subsequent starts it puts people off. If its good start at £4.99 sit back and let em bid . One or two items out of ten will go a little shy. Four or five will go for exactly what you expect and two or three will go totally silly and give you stupid amounts. Happens all the time on ebay people get carried away.
Reckon one more start at £500 might see it go. But if someone wants it they might pay the £600.... Too rich for me but Im not a big fan of motoring or petrol etc |
