Raleigh made Bowden plenty of money... He married American heiress Amelia Frances and bought a 100 bedroom mansion in Oxfordshire. My father worked at his factory for a while before the war... just like Arthur Seaton he hated the place and couldn't wait to join the RAF.

 Seen a smaller version at a garage auction in West Yorks about 10+ years ago. Old Car Garage, Collingham Bridge.

So its not an unrecording enamel sign then?? Its in none of the enamel bible books and chandler aint got one,,so i just thought, only thought it may be an unrecorded sign..Sorry to have mislead anyone

 Great auction that day, clashed with another at BBR I recall. There was a bloke at the back who was making sure all the reserves were met though, cheap or otherwise!!
