Thought this tin was a little unusual. "Golden Magnet" brand manufactured by Cope Bro's of Lord Nelson St, Liverpool. Founded in 1842. Tin design same as a number of different brands but inside the lid a paper label which someone has tried to rip out. It would have been nice if it was on the outside. My records show this brand was introduced in 1897 and withdrawn in 1904.
