 This Thomas Nicholl's advert for "Union Jack Shag" tobacco and "Auld Lang -Syne" cigarettes was used to promote/sponsor, the 1924 EISTEDDFOD which at the time ran for 6 days at Llangollen, North Wales, which is not far from the manufacturers base in Chester.
