This Thomas Nicholls's "Sweet Home" tobacco introduced about 1910 and quite a rare item. T. Nicholls's were Snuff and Tobacco manufactures established in 1780 at Swift Mills Eastgate St, Chester. They had a popular range of brands, Chester Cut - John Peel - Tom Moody - Oliver Twist to name but a few. This is a nice find for the new cabinet.

Hi Bacco . Very nice tin ,never seen that before. Well done . Cheers Broadie.
That's a real beauty Bacco. Jealous I am.
When you say "a nice find" does that mean from a boot fair or the like?
Great little tin .. Love those colours.
Hi All,
Glad you like the tin. It came from another collector who allowed me to go through his display cabinet and I persuaded him to sell it to me with the Nicholl's "True Blue" tin posted and a few others. Ho does not collect tins.
Hi Bacco . To say your friend doesn't collect tins , he found one or two good ones!! Well done for acquiring them . Cheers Broadie
Good friend to have. :)
Hi Bamberbooks,
Glad you like the tin, Another Nicholl's tin with paper label. Not one I have come across before. Top is a bit rough but nice on inside lid.
