Have done this firm before but can't find it in the archives: However, Huddersfield Local History provided some information on this company. Elliott & Co founded in 1860 specialising in cigar manufacturing and based in Pack Horse Yard, King St, Huddersfield with 160 employees. Recognised as one of the most important centres of industry in Huddersfield and yet the two brands shown are not mentioned in the Tobacco Year Book, which is surprising considering the amount of products produced. "Du Barry" &  "Pack Horse cigars were their most popular brands..Have shown the "Guardsman" before' The Elliotts "Turkish" cigarette tin is a paper label a bit distressed but a nice early tin and a recent purchase. Turkish tobacco became very popular after the Crimean War of 1853 - 1856. Do any forum members have samples of this company????

Found the above image located here:

huddersfield.exposed/wiki/R.J._Elliott_and_Co.,_Limited

Very interestingly, if you scroll down to the notes & references you will see a link to one of your posts here on the oldshopstuff forum!

Those Bulldog cigars were apparently quite important to the firm, enough so to take legal action if required:

Also found another Bulldog image which is likely WW2 era?
