Hugh succes with the latest show. Biggest fair sofar. More and more people come to attent the show and more and more come to visit.

Is there a better picture of the Canadian Pacific Sign leaning against the wall about midway down the list? Is that Canadian Pacific Steamships?

 

It's a similair sign (took the picture from internet). If you're interested, I can ask the owner the price. But it will not be cheap ;-(

 

The yellow stuff in the lower right corner is from the website I took the picture of. Is not on the sign.

Henk, it seems most of the signs are in very good condition and I don't think I saw one bullet hole.

Henk, fantastic collection of signs. Is there a reason why there are so many of them and in such good condition?

That is a pitty because we love to welcome collectors from the birthplace of collecting enamel signs !! There are special arrangements that are not expensive and as you all know: Entrance is free for visitors AND stalholders.

Planesman:

In Europe, condition is everything. All the damaged signs are traded elsewhere. Not in these kind of shows. Only quality sells here ;-)

Gordo:

There where a few with "bullit holes", but these where not sold :-) And so where most of the British signs. (I think there might be a connection ha ha).

I think it's not quite right to value condition above all other considerations.
