Emails, texts, Messenger, answerphones - opened a real can of worms re' a 'bit of a do' at Elsecar.... here's the reworded advert - watch this space.

BBR Office: open both days from 9am for future auction entries, magazine, catalogue & book orders. 

Please be patient if trying to get through to book a stall for Saturday 24th July Elsecar "bit of a do" replacing what should have been the UK SummerNational.The phone lines are (not surprisingly) very busy.

2. OUTSIDE BBR SALEROOM right up to main visitor entrance - still waiting on BMBC response.

3. MILTON HALL Filling the whole hall, plus Sundays Auction preview. Refreshments both days.

JULY AUCTION
SUNDAY 25 JULY MILTON HALL.

Doors 9am, Auction streamed worldwide 11am. Seats must be pre-booked (in case of any restrictions). Catalogue admits 2 (must be pre-booked, ltd run).

 

Council have given permission for outside pitches linking BBR saleroom up to Milton Hall - so we have a SHOW & Elsecar w/e ON - get in.

Defo grown grey hairs on my baldness over this one - anyone want to buy me a Barnsley Gold I can only let my hair down Sunday, lol!

Elsecar awaits to welcome the return of keen bottlers from all corners of the UK...

Some folks don't do social media, or forums, or get a magazine or get a catalogue...BUT - gradually at least we're getting the word out to many....

BBR 168 (celebrating 42 yrs) arrived in most parts of the UK yesterday, & next week the auction catalogue will go out. Tomorrow, Monday, we will be doing a mailshot to our almost 500 stallholder database too....

We held off with the Auction catalogue - that is getting packed as we speak - another sumptuous 68 pager, ram jam packed with goodies.

I'm hoping for 80+ stalls on Saturday - inside & out... we're waiting for final instructions from Mr Johnson regarding "finer details" of his opening up plans Monday before making our decisions about "everything.

Saturday Curry seats do need to be prebooked - let's celebrate together the return of the "home of collecting."

 

Looks like we've a COUPLE OF OUTDOOR for next SATURDAY 24 JULY opposite BBR saleroom - 10ft x 6ft - unload & set up from 8 - 9am.

Pack up/ leave whenever you want. No Early Entry - so a good hour to set up, run round other stalls.

Balmy balmy week @ BBR. Even today, last minute "any stalls?", "... might there be some hotel rooms in Elsecar?".... or, "can I put something in the auction?"

This new Hotel is worth adding to your radar for future - might be full after me sending loads over this week.

Stall wise we're FULL.... and we've gone overboard in providing nourishment in Milton Hall & in the BBR saleroom, plus seats to rest down on.

Just need all visitors to queue co-operatively down by the side of the Market pub for the FREE admission (NO E.E.) at 9am. Please, please, please don't disturb us getting ready to open the floodgates on time.

A WARM YORKSHIRE WELCOME AWAITS YOU ALL BACK TO ELSECAR.... albeit in a completely different form to what you're used to!!

Revelled a bit Sunday night & flopped into bed - but so over the moon with the unexpected DELUGE of visitors. Three stalls sold out completely of stock!!

Auction Sunday was phenomenal as well - so all in all a great return to Elsecar - the home of collecting. Got my own auction on Saturday 11 September & then (fingers crossed) a return to a 'normal' w/e in October.
