this 1 came with a few others, rare sweet (early) sign , makers mark "mather & crowther ltd ldn" anyone seen another or anything from the same makers . Cig

That's such a weird shape...I guess it's a shield variation. Looks like an arse hanging off a washing line!
It's a great sign.
I've got an oval Mellins Food sign made by Mather and Crowther...it's the kind that were mounted on the outside stairs of the earliest buses.

The shield (?) is convex (not sure photo shows this) - thought it might represent part of Singer machine in some way.
