What a lovely sign. The colours shouldn't be to hard to match, so i'd say restore it.

Thanks for the encouragment guys, it looks like the maker is Imperial Enamel Co Birmingham.   If anyone has any pictures of signs that they have restored perhaps they could post them on here and we could start a restoration thread. I'me going to have a go at restoring this one and could include pictures as it goes along.    Cheers....Mel.

Looks good up to now Mel..When welding metal back into signs do you use parts of an old sign that is unrepairable or new metal? Plus how does the weld not melt the original enamel?? Anyway keep at it mate..all the best
