My alert neighbours were watching Salvage Hunters and saw what they didn't realise were signs that had been stolen from my family's business some years ago. They just took a screen shot of the image and gleefully told me that someone else had exactly the same name and business somewhere else in the country and what a coincidence. I recognised the sign straight away as one of the pair of bespoke enamel signs that were stolen from my family's business. I know that the program was Salvage Hunters and I am going to investigate a bit more which firm he was visiting when the signs were on display but does anyone know what I should do next? I have a horrible feeling that the program was first aired some time last year but I am hoping that the sign will still be there, and not have been sold on.

First port of call would be to look up the episode in question on this:

Then ring up the company pretending to be a customer and enquire about the signs availability. Whatever they say call your local police to report it. They might be able to trace who they sold it on to
