Over 2 years ago this toerag did me for £550 via gumtree. Its taken over 2 years for myself and 7 others to finally see him sent down.
The policeman involved was disappointed with his sentence and was hoping for more. This individual is a serial fraudster and a bit of bird will be water off a ducks back to him.
However when he's out he's homeless and penniless. Sadly the proceeds of crime act has produced evidence that all his money and funds are already tied up with paying back for previous misdemeanours.
My warning is this, do not deal with David Aves or D A Transport of Bury St Edmunds. I also think he has a girlfriend and spurious attempts at selling via Gumtree in Nottingham have also appeared.
I feel like a prick for getting caught and no monies will be returned. But life goes on. I know we all jump at things but please, never ever pay up front for something unless its through PayPal or using a credit card where you have some cover.
