Anyway, decided against, and sure enough, gone shortly afterward. Cracking sign originally. Be interesting to see in what form it resurfaces.

 I was the buyer of this one. £295 BIN + £15 p+p. Long long time since I've seen another, I think it was at Beamish?? Anyway, despite the apparent damage it's got great gloss and a credit to the makers of this early enamel.
