Something doesn't quite look right. I don't like the perfect 1/8" brown boarder edge, similar to a lot of repros out of India. I'd have to see it in person. Fantasy sign = one that was never made but has been reproduced to deceive collectors. Happens a lot over here with oil and has signs |

Ive tried to enlarge it,crop it but makers name still not on show..As for reproduction Mick::) Come on mate..Whats it a copy of?? Its been produced yes but not reproduced if that makes any sense?? And if your gonna go to this high standard of doing something then i would of thought that over time others would appear?? Perhaps im wrong? To me apart from seeing the back it looks Bang on..letters All match with other Webbs signs,sharp and crisp and to get those early pastel colours i think would be very hard to do..Alot harder than to produce a sign from the 20s?? |
