My train seems to be different from the one shown by Brankstons on December 23th - Any explanations???

Kjeld

PS. Thanks for good informations - What does a poor Dane know about British tins?

Bad news Kreemy, though you probably are completely right.

What about this one then? bought it several years ago - and always loved it.

Hi Kjeld,

I think there are about 4 different livery trains for the "Main Line" Flake brand. The one I have posted is same as brankstons. I do like your "Volcano" tin. Very Nice.

As far I know there are only the two different different livery trains for the Mail Line Flake tin, but there are four different versions of the Gold Flake showcard featuring a similar picture.  I'm also beginning to think the Green version of the Mail Line Flake is the rarer, as I've got the red one as well, so that's three among forum members!

Thanks for your comments on The Main Line Flake and the Vulcano.

I have a number of variations of the blue "Bulwark" - "cut plug" and "navy cut" but I have only seen this red version "Empire Blend Cut Plug".

The condition is very nice, but I am not sure how rare it is.

It's not a common one by any means.

I have just framed this Will's "Woodbines" poster which I have had for a while. It is not one that I have come across before. Sadly, it has a fold mark which I have been unable to get out. Anyone come across this one???

This is my "Capstan" tin sign. You don't see many of these signs
