More for the Aussie collectors this one. Just got back from an auction, the Golden Fleece rack and bottles selling for $3,800 + 12.5 % premium($4,300), a bit high I thought. Two of the bottles were really good, the third had a chip on the lip and the fourth had some hazing in the bottom quarter of the bottle, which I don't think was going to clean up. To top it off I wasn't a 100 % satisfied that the rack sign was the real deal.

What do you Aussie boys think, do we think there was some auction fever going on here??

I could get 2 or 3 really nice pictorials for that sort of money

I'm with you rarity doesn't make it a nice sign,I would also prefer a nice pictorial anyday.

Well I suppose it just shows that all collectors are mad...................including me !!

Just as a sign, for looks and appeal I would'nt pay more than £80 tops, probably not even that if I'm honest.

Not sure where rarity finishes & madness starts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
