I couldn't believe that price. Even in great condition it's not an uncommon sign? Anybody want to buy my machine gunned example for half that??

Thats the thing though, lots of battle damaged ones about, this was almost mint and looked nice reflective enamel . . . next time!

If you can wait until tonight I'll copy it across onto the forum site at home. I think the gloss shine certainly attracted the bids like wasps around a jam jar on this 5' x 3' version. It was a private listing so the winner may never be traced ?

I have to say I am not a ' petrolhead '  although i have and like some motoring signs.

But like Sign-seeker it seems a massive amount to me,  and actually when you look closely, lots of gloss but quite along way from being mint !

Still if the price was ' real ' ? and the buyer happy who am i to argue...........Not for me though.

I sold a load last year for £150 a piece in this condition. Gutted!!!!
