Finally got hold of my Michelin sign all the way from Yorkshire. Gave it a good clean and its come up mint with an amazing shine to the enamel, really pleased with it. I wonder if anyone can help me date it? It has the following on the bottom of the sign.....

R.C.CLERMONT-FD 55B50         7.601,5-511 EAS   made in france

Thanks, Mark

Hi Mark, here is my Michelin.  Double sided and hangs from the ceiling.  It has a similar inscription on the bottom of the reverse side.

Those cross-plys take me back to my teenage years in my Triumph Herald!
