An Unusual sign - I haven't seen another - but cannot work out what it was advertising ! so not a great sign really  - I spotted a sign "in The Wild" to - day  so if I can get a mate to help me and a ladder and some hedge clippers I will try to get it - it's facing inwards so I just don't know what it is

Hi Parian

The product your sign is advertising is pump packings. They are used to seal pump shafts and valve stems and stop fluids leaking from one section to another. The company was founded by Scotsman James Walker in 1882 and was based out of London.
