Hello :

My name is Peter ma. I'm from xi'an Northwest of CHINA.I am a Collector

of Cigarette Packets/Packs. I have been collecting since 1993, the

collection is mainly made up of Chinese packets/packs from 1970 to the

1999`s.until now i have more than 7000's of chinese packets .I have

made many new friends with the same hobby, and my collection is growing

month by month. I can get more information about now I prefer to

collect what we call Live Cigarette Packets/Packs, this is the packet

with its original contents complete, not as easy but still very

enjoyable. I also Specialize in collecting the Cigarette Packets. I

think from this hobby I can meet more friends from all over the world.

Cook Snr used to collect packets, a bit older than Peter's though. I rarely see packets refrenced on the site, certainly not as much as tins, enamels, displays, cabinets etc. There are some real stunning packets out there. Are they less fashionable these days (as collectables)? Do any members have extensive packet collections they'd like to share images of?

I have about 500 stashed away to be put on the site in the coming months. Bought a belting 'Cup Tie' one the other day from F J Smiths of Glasgow.
