Your THEE MONSTER is from an 'old ' region of Holland or the Netherlands if you prefer
Lummox
Cheers Lummox. I guess the 'region' you're referring too is called Friesland?
Actually I just went and looked it up. Got a short history and geography lesson. :) Thanks
Clarnico Bruin Boys miniature tin. I have seen 7 different in this series. I think there might have been 8 though. For sale @ £75 inc post.

A few more tea samples
Would really like one of these!!!
Nice one Rusty. 8 sounds a likely number.
2 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Match strike on base.
What did it contain, a bit of baccy, mouth pieces? Too small for a pipe.
Wish I had two Al, sorry. :)
Another little tea tin. 2 1/4" tall.
A little Singer Drum. 1 3/4" diameter. It held needles I think.
2 3/4" tall
The two on the left are marked Chad Valley Series.
Pulled this one out of a box yesterday. Around about 1918 I would think, and quite a generous sample sized tin at two and three quarter inches square, maybe because it was made for the export market?
Does anyone know anything about these?
2" at the widest. Indented bases.
Gong, Soup that is, not Angel's Eggs.
47mm square, 25mm deep.
