Looks a bit iffy to me. Been painted on the ground but has a few layers of paint. Can anyone tell for certain?

Cheers

Al.

Measure the size of the fixing hole and compare it to the cast ally school sign you have..should be the same..Original cast iron railway signs are nearly always the same size..i.e if you can put a fag through the hole, its real,if not its snide..Thats what i got told anyway???

fluffy powdery aluminium from where it has oxydized is a good sign.

Looks fine to me Al. They came off the AA roadside telephone emergency boxes ( apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs ). I've had a few and they all looked just like yours. They were all snapped up by experienced ' Petrolheads ' so must have been ok
