At the Shropshire Steam Show, I came across this super collection of Petrol Cans owned by Joe & Jen Davies of Bristol. His collection is partly displayed at the Oakham Treasures Museum which is well worth a visit. He did tell me, that there was at least another 200 plus to find in order to complete his collection.

Does anyone have Joe Davies contact details?
He left a message on my answerphone about wishing to attend Chilli Farm Country Fair but i am missing the last 2 digits of his phone number!

Got this Glico can and the original cap separately on the same day by random chance.

Cheers

Im thinking about restoring some of my petrol cans, but does anyone know anywhere where it shows you how to do it?

Or know themselves?

Never restored anything, so thought i would start with these and maybe work my way up to larger things.

Any help would be great, cos these displays are awesome!!

In addition, who would rather have orignal as opposed to restored??
