This R & J Hill;s advertising sign for "Smoking Mixture" pipe tobacco, is engraved into this piece of milk-glass with original frame and woodworm holes. Manufactured by Burnam-London impressed in bottom right corner. Have not been able to find much about Hill's at the moment but they manufactured in London and from 1900 did a tremendous range of cigarette cards which are very desirable and expensive. I would date this sign around 1900. Size 13" X 8.5"

It reminds me of a window glass, but that frame is defo original.

Must be unique by now?
