Had 3 hours out today on my late screw top tip ,can be horrid at times but as people always say you never know what late sites can throw up.

Half way into the dig i had cleared the top off and broke the ash down into the hole ,looked down to see what looked like a ginger base ,no way it could be i thought as in 6 digs i had never seen even a frag of a ginger.

Lifted it out and nearly fell over couldent believe it , not only mint but a super rare Eckersleys to add to the collection.

I didn't get anything else except a old whistle but i was well chuffed to of come home with a shelf item.

Great bottle chris, The first GB i ever dug was a crown cap, Where i live on the easy yorkshire coast i only know of one crowncap gb, and ive only had 2 in the last 10 years both from carboots, not even seen a fragment of one in a hole yet
