Always nice to see a sign still in situ, I remember as a small child i use to be fascinated by a very rusted tin brooke bond tea sign on a derelict corner shop, i dont know why, but thinking about it maybe that was the start of the slippery slope!

Seen in a small town on the outskirts of Toronto. We love to tear old stuff down so this is not a common sight.

Here's one that nobody will be getting down in a hurry!  The building behind has long since been renovated but obviously housed a vendor of motor spirit and oils at some point in it's history.  The old oak tree has grown around this double sided flange sign.  The owner must have used the tree as a convenient post next to the road, and nailed it on a hell of a long time ago!

Amazing! how it's that still there like that, not even bent round. a shame in some respects, could be a very nice sign.

Hi rusty-signs............................i will have to wait for the tree to fall over, could take a while though.  In the mean time here is a mint one in my collection. Enjoy!

And another version but with some damage.
