I think, much to everyone's relief this is my small collection of 4 American underwear boxes. The 5th photo isn't a box and it isn't American but it is underwear and it is British.

A very nice piece Lummox, but tell me more.

It looks like a large item. Is it?

It looks like something we call chalkware over here. What is it made from?

I never did understand the pointy bra period of fashion. There is nothing in nature more perfect than the soft gentle curves of a woman's breasts. What ever possessed them to take this perfect form and mould it into the business end of a ballistic missile?

Hi Vlad

Yes about 2ft 6 ins high.

Its hollow over a frame and made from plaster so I think you are spot on with what you call ' chalkware '

As for ' pointy ' breasts or otherwise I'll leave that to the individual

This box is a little later than the previous ones, circa 1950, but it does have nice imagery, great colours and is in near perfect condition.

lummox i do like that! btw there not pointy becuase of a bra, there is no bra. there pointy becuase of age! or lack of it!
