JJust got these two yesterday, from a place I haven't been to in ages. Wondered where the place where the mint and the lavender grow was. Tiny cricketer tin has pen nibs in but not sure if that was it's original intention. Thought they were both nice tho.

Jez I like your Pascall tin. I was curious just where the mint and lavender grow and was surprised to see that Pascall was based in Auckland, New Zealand. Pascall is now owned by Cadbury which in turn is owned by the American giant Kraft Foods. I thought it was an English company?

These are not my photos but this is where I would like to think the mint and lavender grows.

I am sure they are an English firm. Maybe their name was taken and used by the corporates later on. Like the Carrs biscuits factory is now McVities in Carlisle. They also altered the founding date of the firm to 1908 on the biscuit packaging, I was sure they were founded about 1818. Weird. I liked the Pascall tin particularly the mint lumps bit. As a former designer it sits well aesthetically (that sounded it a bit pretentious but I stand by it!!!). J.
