There are many other examples of these tins but I try to wait until I find them in good condition. I have never had to pay very much for them but it is always a cheap thrill when I come upon a new one.

These Rich's tins are the most common one available but the large five pound example is harder to find. The other sizes shown are one pound, half a pound and three ounces.

These are the two earliest examples and date from around 1900.

I like the boldness of these two Tropical tins and the picture of a crocodile chained to a palm tree.

An old Imperial on the right and a later version on the left.

Two Asian themed tins. I always thought the one on the right was crystallized ginger but after taking the photo I realized it is powdered ginger but decided to include it anyhow.

A few more.

Thanks guys. I have yet to come across a British example or any other country for that matter. They all seem to be American. I think the British equivlant from the same time period would be creme-de-menthe sweetmeats which I also have a collection of.
