Hi everyone, wondered if anyone could help me with these?

i found them at the bottom of a box of early 1900's army paperwork and certificates i aquired recently from an estate sale. Would i be right in thinking that they look to be artwork for packaging?

No they are printers pulls, these are taken off press early to check colour, registration etc. more than often the printer pulls would be kept in case the client later requested them or to match subsequent runs to. Or just as files copies. These are off press prints not original artwork, lovely though, in essence they are flat printed samples that later in the process would be scored and creased and folded into boxes.
