Thanks for posting that Mario. There are some great tins in that thread from all concerned. I had the pleasure of seeing Relics collection a couple of years ago and it really is fantastic. We are going to stay with our son again in Melbourne in January but we won't be up in Queensland  unfortunately. I hope you and your family are keeping well Chris. Cheers Broadie.

Thanks Broadie...Is always a great pleasure to see close these treasures, stunning all together!!

Many thanks Relics! I'll write some words from the "The Sydney Mail" - Dec 3, 1898.

THE LANCET (March, 1891) says: - "The medicinal virtues of the well-know waters of Carlsbad depend on the presence of mineral salts...The water is accordingly reputed to be useful in rheumatism, gout, and kidney disorders. Kutnow's Carlsbad Powder is stated to contain, amongst other ingredients, the active principle of the Sprudel Salt obtained direct from the mineral water."
Carlsbad is a city based in northern San Diego County, California.

Here the full articles from different old newspapers.

Cheers,

Mario

Here a little example of medical tin. Quite interesting the words on the lid "Sample for Study" and the little Caduceus cross holding by a probabily Roman woman. The details are quite impressive!
