 Hilbert;
10 years ago these popped up every now and then for not much money .

I bought one from the UK back then and this one sometime later.

Times have certainly changed .

How long since you found a decent Tea sample tin at a fair ?
Perhaps in the UK , you are in with a chance , but not much hope in Australia .
Most of the good stuff changes hands with a phone call and the odd bit finds it way to ebay.

Found any more nib tins ?

I haven't been to a fair for a few years, they'd become a waste of time. Last 20 or so visits without a purchase. I figure ebay has dried them up, at least the places that I used to frequent.

I didn't find ebay soon enough to get in on the real bargins I guess.

Nib tins. I've stopped buying the british ones as I have 2 sets of the coloured ones. The sepia ones are harder to get. A nice cond. crickter just went for only £11, probably because I stopped bidding on them :) Rarely see the rounded corner ones that you've shown.

I'll still do a swappsy or what ever if you want some. Not sure you got my last mail back then.

Cheers
Hilbert

Wow, nice display. You've been busy eh, you have added to your nib tins since our last chat. Have you got a larger version of that pic you can email me?

I have a spare sepia footballer, could do a swap with one of your spares in the other set.

Cheers Hilbert

 Hi Peter

I posted a picture of an Amgoorie tea tin on one of the pages of this thread
It is a nice example from Fowlers .

Also have a few others , Paou Chung , Terai , Amgoorie , Owl .. All tea samples , and all from Fowlers Co
I will put some pictures on over the weekend if I can find them .

Do you have any others from Fowlers ?
