John ,

I know you have some fantastic early pontilled hamiltons in you collection, if you have  £30 to £40,000 to spare this Russian Faberge c 1900 item would make a fantastic Hamilton Stand !!

 Great display...Sorry if i sound thick by asking this question,but what does getting a bottle tumbled mean?? Im not a bottle man meself but ive heard it said a few times..Does it mean cleaned or repaired?? Look forward to any one letting me know..Cheers.

hi it means tumbled .its a better way of cleaning bottles than the old acid dipping method

Goes in a machine Spencer where light grit or similar basically takes away a tiny layer of glass, by revolving the bottle 1000's of times, Sometimes very good.............. but too much and it lowers the embossing or makes it obvuiously mucked about with to too much of a degree
