I purchased a lot of automobile hood ornaments the other day and found in it an old radiator cap I haven't been able to identify. It seems like a really old piece. My first thought was Plymouth And maybe Stutz but I'm not quite sure. I was hoping someone may know more about this piece or could shed some knowledge. It would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a photo of the radiator cap

Looks like an Indians head, so I would think it might be a Pontiac.

Some of those fancy hood ornaments you see are better than the cars there on.

Gordo

I was thinking Pontiac but haven't found a pontiac anywhere with this radiator cap. I'm just curious if I have found a very rare piece or just a random radiator cap worth nothin. Appreciate the reply!

Doesn't look like the head belongs on the cap, if you look at the base it doesn't seem to fit. My guess is its a homemade jobby. Doesn't look particularly valuable, but throw it on EBay and see what it brings, there are plenty of Rat Rod enthusiasts who woudl probably bang it on one of the rides. The last 10 seconds of an Ebay action will tell you lots..........
