 Hi Lummox, apologies for the delay but I don't have a ruler but it is only small, maybe about 2 inches by 3 inches. Iv'e had it since 1997

That little box could date back to the early 1890,s
Does it look that old to you Kalder  ? .. or possibly a later version ?

 Hi relics, sorry for the late reply but I don't always look on this site. It's mostly on a weekend. Anyway , yes I think it is 1890s or slightly later?

It is very similar in style especially the layout on the rear of 1885 - 1895 playing card boxes by de la rue and gibson etc, so I reckon 1890 will be a very good guess as to date
