Mitchell's introduced the "Golden Dawn" brand in October 1901 and was still available in the 1940s according to the Tobacco Year Book. Have not come across this tin before but it is in very good condition and circa 1915. The other Mitchells tin I have is the very bright "Tam O' Shanter" counter tin which I have also posted.

Your right, it is a bit unusual and quite rare as I have not come across it before and I have about 30 different different counter tins.  One of the best and most colourful counter tins is this Mitchell's "Tam O' Shanter" which I have shown before.
