Hi Guys, Brought this sign on ebay yesterday however I notice the seller was posting the sign from India which has kind of given me second thoughts on the sign. Looks all good to me but would love other peoples opinion as I know signs from India have a bad rep Also got me thinking why would there have been any cycle or motor enamels in India, would have thought barely any of the native people could have afford it whilst the British presence I would have thought would have been military, and they would have had military issued equipment, probably an ignorant view so would love to be enlightened on the subject Thanks

Tom,
Looks ok to me. A lot of signs were exported to India, lots of British people living there during the Raj. I think its a good un!

I agree with Jez I think its fine. There were loads of companies dealing in India and many British products were exported and sold in India along with loads of Advertising, Signs, Tins, showcards, bottles etc, etc all of it real.............But they still have access to some of the old processes and factories in India, hence all the " Good Quality " recent repros. It is a bit of a minefield and many a collector has been duped.
