Hi All

I know this ‘wanted’ is quite off-piste for this group, however, the likes of you folks here who are digging around for items more akin to this group ‘may’ have come across these in your travels or know of someone, which is the reason for this wanted post.

What I’m after (see attached pic of one I found online) are these old Amperes meters/dials that have a bottom base that screws down. The base and the round case are cast as one piece and are quite heavy and are roughly 4” in diameter. I can't quite make out the makers name, <!--[if gte mso 9]>

I saw one the other day at an antique fair, got distracted by the other half for a bacon bap and then saw it had gone… Ahhh

Anyone you collects old industrial (steampunk) may know of one?

Thanks in advance for this real longshot request.

Cheers

Cheers David

My wife thinks I’m unique as well! LOL

Yes, these old industrial pieces are gaining an attractiveness to me. Like the old enamels, there’re a part of our past history that used to serve a purpose and still have a story to tell.

If you look at some of the interior pics of the Battersea Power Station control room, there’s a kind of majesty and elegance about how they built things back then – a real pride.

Would your good friend who collects the same, maybe have any suggestions our contacts that may be able to help locate one of these?

Any help is very grateful.
