Well folks, I've been up to no good.

Thought I needed to use up some of my honey from the beekeeping.

I've got 4 Carboy's brewing right now, 2 with a good English Honey Brown Ale and 2 with a batch of Mead. The Mead was made with 17 pounds of honey.

This ought to keep me warm for the comming long winters nights.......

Yes Spence, I'm afraid I've been know to indulge from time to time, BUT this will be my first batch of Mead. I checked the specific gravity reading and its already at 5.51% and its only been 2 weeks, should top out around 14-17%. The beer will probably end up around 4.5-5.5%

Well fellas, the fuits of my labour. I ended up with a total of 43 bottles of the Honey Brown Ale. Of course it would have been closer to 48, but I ended up sampling it fairly heavily; had to do some Quality Assurance checks etc...

Those are the empties, its best to store upside down on paper towel to keep them clean and free of dust.

Fellas, just wanted to give a brief update on the Mead progress. Its really clearing up; almost see through. Ill re-rack in the next few weeks, and probably bottle Jan. The Honey Brown ale that I made is already down to about 20 bottles left, it was an overwhelming sucess, but my how it goes quickly; ill be thinking if getting another batch going pretty soon.
