 It is a lovely regional museum well worth a visit, and very handy if, like me, you work in Pickering. PS there is a slate sign just like the one next to the bar for sale in a Malton antique shop.

 Good question. From what I can gather despite the best offer had so far (£450) it remains screwed on the wall. With it being local I think the vendor hopes one of the local jockeys will plump for it, but they seem to spend all their spare time in William Hills. I'll get an update for you Al. PMS me with what you think - it is mint and never been put on a pub wall.
