Does any one know what this is or what it was used for..Its in as found condition..Made of what looks like teracotta?? Thanks in advance..

c 1870 ish, Stoneware,  possibly Nottingham, lovely coat of arms Sprigging, almost certainly spirit of some kind brandy, whisky etc
