This "Princess Cecilia" brand of cigarettes produced by H C Webster, Leeds is a bit unusual. This "Princess Cecilia" was a Princess from Sweden circa 1540 - 1627. She spent some time in this country as guest of Queen Elizabeth 1st in 1564. I have not been able to find the relavance of this brand name to this company. Does anyone have any ideas??? Henry Conyers Webster was a Tobacco?Cigarette merchant from various addresses in Leeds in 1899. They did a "Webst'er's" 5 for a penny and a brand called "Roundhay".. Would be interested to find more info on this company and in particular the brand.

 Hi Broadie,

Glad you like the tin. I am sure there is plenty around different parts of North Yorkshire although thinking about it most is in your shop??? Anyway, have attached photo of H C Webster 5 for a penny, paper cigarette packet. Has anybody on the forum found any of this firms items?????

Another nice tin Bacco. And another obscure maker.
