Hi Bevand,
That's a very nice tin. Not sure what the brand name "Mal-Kah" means but it originated from B. Kriegsfeld & Co based at Lower Mosely St. Manchester in 1892. It is believed that because of it's Dutch/German origins that it may be best to change to a less contentious name and in 1897, the firm became known as "Mal-Kah" and in addition in 1905 formed the "Anglo Colonial Tobacco". The records show that the "Mal-Kah"brand produced over 50 variations and the quality of the printing which is evident on your tin, was mainly done in Denmark. Kriegsfeld tins such as "Apple Blossom"-"Ivy" and La Poupee" are just a few of there finest and very desirable for collectors.
