HI, Thought you might like to see these goodies i've added to my

collection. They were bought from the Old Toll House ( Smethwick high St).in

the late 70s when it closed down, the shop , now a listed building, used to

sell ladies garments,,Young & Neilson took out the patent for this corset in 1879

it fell out of fasion around 1905,(acording to the National Costume Museam )

I managed to get both clocks that were in the shop so i will soon be putting one 

on Ebay iso look out if anyone is interested both clocks work fine. the mirror was

bought at the same shop also.   Cheers Keith

 HI, No i think its 1880s  i would'nt think they would produce these clocks

as late as 1905 knowing demand for this corset was on the wane

Y & N produced a new catalogue with a new range in 1905.
