I put these sets together over the years... fairs and auctions ...before the arrival of ebay. Nice rare sets I thought...then ebay arrived on these shores  . Now, some ( not all ) keep turning up on ebay  All the early mornings ,long distance fairs and shoe leather !! .The pleasure though is in the hunt

F'ing gorgeous. More than half of those I've never seen before. You are still well ahead of the game Kennett.

I'd love to see your collection in all it's glory. Your posts never fail to impress.

Hey Kennet. I really like these, great images and condition is superb! Curious, what would be the order from the most common to the rarest? What did the tins contain originaly...tea, biscuits?

Difficult tp say Mick...Possibly hardest to find are the "golden Arrow" and the "Airship R101...easiest being Admiral Rodney  and maybe the "Supermarine Spitfire"... Nigel sold a nice Admiral Rodney for £127.recently a bargain I think...... I paid £450 for the Golden Arrow ten years ago this was last tin of this set  bought ..Most came under £50

The other set of six,  Dick Whittington etc I found the hardest to  find of all the twelve.

.All are 1930s toffee tins

Agree with Hilbert; every time you post summat Ken, they're awesome.

Some tins just lend themselves to being displayed as a set. Hugely impressive.

Thanks.
