Hi All, Speaking of London, I thought I would share this great Canadian gem of a tin. Its got its original wooden bottom and I think it was a dispay/dispensing tin for store counters. Has a slot on the underside of lid, not sure what for? Lid is hinged on the "portrait" orianation instead of the "landscape" Sorry, not for sale, jst thought I'd share pics.

Wonderful tin Mick, great graphics. Do many tins have wooden bases in your part of the world? I guess by the way it opens that it was not for self service.

These Big Ben wood base tins are the only ones I've seen. There is an identical Big Ben dispensing tin that is all black and with no graphics and generic typeface which is much more common, but unappealing
