Just a warning if you see this sign turning up on eBay or offered.  Ross sent me a message to say he saw it at a fair over the weekend. It's a doctored genuine white 'milkglass' Bass sign, I first saw it in an auction some weeks ago (see picture).  However all the lettering & fancy patterning at the top has been handbrushed on with acrylic or emulsion paint, it actually scrapes off with a fingernail & has no 'etching' on the white glass underneath.  Also if you look at the sign it's totally out of proportion with all the wording crammed in the top. Crafty devil who doctored it, I believe a chap from Gravesend who died some years ago carried out the work, he was a devil for altering various pieces to make them more desirable to local collectors.  Don't get caught !

Good to see it back to how it should look.
