 A good Edwardian brass sign with inlaid painted enamelled lettering....meat stored in cold room...on original mahogany back.....sign just needs a polish but the mahog back has had a few bashes and losses along the top over the years that needs sorting but at least its still there...measures approx 14 x 10 inches overall......the thick brass Prime Lamb shield approx 7 x 6 inches...BOTH SIGNS NOW SOLD...

Nice things - reminds me of stories my dad told me about being an apprentice in the Dewsbury Co op butchery dept in the 1930's.
