I don't understand this selective who he contacts ?
Put the ad up in the for sale section and see who's willing to pay the most, sometimes the buyer may not be who you would have expected ?
The problem with the make an offer scenario is, I found asking collectors on this site to make an offer as a painful experience. I understand that everyone wants to pay as little as possible, but just work out what it's worth to you and that's that.

Had an e-mail from Mr Mole just stating that all the signs are restored to varying degrees and as such would I still be interested ? Not sure if his identity is meant to be secret, so will not divulge but there are some good guesses here! |

Why can't he just put pictures up on here? Why does it have to be so mysterious? Sounds slightly crappy that they're all restored though. |

I would like to upgrade our officer and a gentleman and a few other signs in the collection but unless things have a price I just can't bring myself to go round and round in circles. Cheers Al. |

I spent a happy day yesterday with Mr Mole and bought several of his signs - The Cadburys Landau, the Officer and Gentleman, the Rowntee's factory and the Rowntee's 3 gentleman by the Beggarstaff Bros. They are restored to varying degrees but where you can buy mint ones these days? Thanks for a great day out Mr Mole! Richard |

2400 views, what an anti climax this thread turned into. |

Totally agree, an anti-climax. Plenty of talk and speculation, but in the end not even a couple of images for those of us who can’t afford the prices, but do like to view the signs on the market.

I have never been able to upload pictures on here, although I have tried often in the past but if a forum member who can upload pictures email's me at richardburn01@gmail.com then I will happily forward some pictures to them to be posted on here. Cheers!

Is someone going to tell me the price of a officer and gentleman sign these days or is it a secret too. |

If you've got about 15,000 under the mattress Joe , you'll be there or thereabouts. |
